Eagle Kuripe, Chonta Kuripe with Ayahuasca Vine, Bird Totem, sha

This listing is for one Eagle Kuripe, used for self-administering rapé medicine.

These charming and beautiful kuripes were hand-made by our friend Johan in Pucallpa, in the Peruvian Amazon exclusively for HanaqPacha. They are made from Chonta, a very dark and strong wood found in the Amazon that is used for making staffs and other shamanic tools. They are adorned with hand-carved Chonta feathers and hand-molded clay Eagle heads.

These are *high quality* kuripes, very strong and well-made. They are not the cheap tourist souvenirs you will find at many markets in Peru and Brazil. The attention to detail is truly outstanding.

**This auction is for ONE of the kuripes pictured above**

Each one measures approximately 3.5quot; from bottom to tip.
____________________________

Please note, these items are all hand-made and so no two will be alike. There may be minor cosmetic variations that will not affect medicine application.

Rapé is a sacred and powerful (and legal) medicine originating in Brazil and Peru, which is used for profound healing and cleansing. It is made from various Amazonian medicinal plants, trees, seeds and vines, and most often Mapacho tobacco. It is applied using a kuripe (or tepi), blown through each nostril.

Munay!
